WebA perilymph fistula (PLF) is a defect in the small, thin membranes that separate the air filled middle ear and the fluid-filled inner ear. The symptoms of a perilymph fistula most commonly include ear fullness, fluctuating or “sensitive” hearing, dizziness without true vertigo (spinning), and motion intolerance.
